It is strange, to help arrange for a pyre for people you did not truly ever know. And to have a killer in the dungeons. And to think that it had something to do with this nonsense about a war...

A city that deserved it, indeed. If any place deserves destruction, it is Megam, for forgetting the Goddesses and giving the land to the lizards. I hope they do not forget your words against them.
And if it is your lizards which brought that torture upon all of us, then you are quite welcome to keep them to yourselves.

Westa would have been strong. I cried like a child... I could not help it, and yet, Westa would have been stronger. I could have been of help, during the earthquake, but even when Lady Karlesta left, I was still crying like a little girl.
... I fear I cannot look at shadows the same way again, and yet, what choice do I have? The shadows are just that. I will grow past this. I will.
